Vitali Kremez

CEO & Chairman

Vitali has served as CEO & Chairman of AdvIntel since June 2020, leading the company's strategic, market, and business operations. He is a renowned cybersecurity expert, malware course author, speaker, blogger, and columnist. Vitali has contributed crucial research and articles to leading publications and is a frequent commentator on cybercrime, hacking incidents, malware, and security. Kremez is a former member of the New York County District Attorney's Office and a former leader of the anti-virus cybersecurity intelligence center. He is now applying this first-hand government and private sector experience in order to advance AdvIntel's strategic growth and market expansion. 

Yelisey Boguslavskiy

Head of Research

Yelisey currently oversees the firm's research, investigative and security operations. He leads AdvIntel's Security & Development Team, conducting advanced HUMINT and SIGINT investigations into cyber fraud, ransomware, APT threats, political manipulation, and violent extremist propaganda conducted through digital infrastructure. Yelisey is an author of "Security Pragmatism: The Peripheral Alliance" – a non-fiction monograph that follows 30 years of security and intelligence cooperation between Turkey, Iran, and Israel from 1947 to 1977 and beyond. Prior to Advanced Intelligence LLC, Yelisey worked as an investigator in the business intelligence community, including Kroll, a division of Duff & Phelps. He holds an M.A. degree in Security Policy Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs of the George Washington University.

Dave Montanaro

VP of Sales

As an accomplished sales & GTM Leader with extensive cybersecurity, enterprise software and global experience, Dave leads AdvIntel’s global sales and GTM efforts. With proven success in building exceptional teams with a focus on driving sales growth and operational excellence. Dave brings a solid track record of consistently exceeding goals while selling complex solutions in both large enterprises and start-up environments. He establishes results-oriented sales strategies, key strategic alliances and partnerships, while employing a natural talent for coaching performance-driven teams, all with a focus on creating value for all stakeholders.  

 

Prior to joining AdvIntel, Dave was the Global GTM and Sales Leader at RSA Security (RSA University Business Unit). Earlier in his career, Dave was in several sales and GTM leadership roles at NCR and EMC and a number of start-ups including ZEFER where Dave helped grow the company from $1M to over $100M in revenue in less than two years and one he founded, Accredo Group, which later merged with Lincoln Peak Partners whereby- Citizens Bank, EMC, DELL, VMware and Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare were all clients.  

Claire Robertson

Claire heads off customer-centric initiatives that assist customers in applying AdvIntel’s products and services towards a variety of use cases such as internal breach and exposure monitoring and supply chain risk management.

Her time at AdvIntel began as a Threat Analyst where she produced exclusive intelligence reporting on the most prolific threat groups leading to ransomware. She soon progressed to Intelligence Team Lead where she coordinated the reporting and weekly duties of the Security and Development Team.

Prior to AdvIntel, she was a librarian at Georgetown University, where she also obtained an MPS in Cybersecurity Risk Management. She also holds an MS in Information Science from the State University of New York, Albany and a BA in Language Studies with a minor in Education from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Mike Brown

Advisor

Michael Brown, Rear Admiral, United States Navy (Retired) is the Founder and President, Spinnaker Security LLC, a cybersecurity consulting business focused on understanding, identifying and mitigating business risks associated with cybersecurity. Additionally, Brown brings executive leadership, including crisis management, from both public and private sector experiences. Just prior to this position, he was President, RSA Federal LLC and Vice President/General Manager Global Public Sector of RSA Security LLC. Responsibilities also included RSA Information Technology, Security and Enterprise Risk Management portfolios. RSA is part of Dell Technologies and formerly of EMC.

Brown joined RSA after a career of more than 31 years in the United States Navy. During his career, he had significant leadership positions within the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security regarding cybersecurity. Brown’s last position on active duty was as the Director, Cybersecurity Coordination for DHS where he was responsible for increasing interdepartmental collaboration in strategic planning for the Nation’s cybersecurity, mutual support for cybersecurity capabilities development, and synchronization of current operational cybersecurity mission activities for the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. He also served as DHS Deputy Assistant Secretary, Cybersecurity and Communications, Acting Assistant Secretary, Cybersecurity and Communications and as the Assistant Deputy Director Joint Interagency Task Force for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Brown’s naval career included numerous staff, afloat and joint positions. He also had various leadership positions, including command of the Naval Information Warfare Activity.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, he also has a Master of Science in Systems Engineering (Electronic Warfare) from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Arts in National and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and was a designated Acquisition Professional.

We Stand for Our Communities

As former refugees, we started AdvIntel as a community-oriented security company. AdvIntel's monitoring and intelligence initiatives are inextricably connected to the protection of communities. We have provided immediate ransomware remediation, as well as free intelligence to prevent breaches and extortion aimed at education and religious institutions, US Native Tribes authorities, hospitals, and NGOs. Amidst COVID-19, we have established a free alerting and intelligence sharing initiative to inform US healthcare agencies of any ongoing or potential cyber activity which may impact their efforts in fighting the pandemic.
